This policy explains what cookies are, how the securhub.pl website (the “Website”) uses them, and what rights you have in relation to them.
What are cookies?
Cookies are computer data, in particular text files, that are stored on the Website User’s end device (e.g., a computer, tablet, or smartphone) and are intended for use with the Website’s web pages.
What cookies do we use?
The Website does not use advertising or marketing cookies. We only use:
1. Remembering your choice (strictly necessary). When you click “Accept” or “Reject”, we store an entry named securhub-zgoda-cookies with your decision and its date in your browser’s storage (localStorage). Without it, we would have to ask for your consent on every page. The entry is valid for 12 months, after which we will ask again. It does not require consent.
2. Google Analytics 4 visitor statistics (only with your consent). They let us see how many people visit the Website, where they come from and which content they read. We set these cookies only after you click “Accept”. Until you consent, the Google Analytics script is not loaded at all.

Google Analytics is provided by Google Ireland Limited (Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland). Data may be transferred to Google LLC in the USA on the basis of the European Commission’s adequacy decision (EU-US Data Privacy Framework), in which Google LLC participates. We keep data collected in Google Analytics for 14 months. Details: how Google uses data.
You can withdraw your consent at any time via the “Cookie settings” link in the website footer. Withdrawing consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before the withdrawal. After you withdraw consent, we delete the Google Analytics cookies from your browser and stop loading the script.
Types of cookies
- Session cookies: temporary files that are stored until you close your browser or leave the website.
- Persistent cookies: files that are stored for the period specified in their parameters or until the User deletes them.
Legal basis for processing
- Strictly necessary cookies: Article 6(1)(f) of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR). This is the controller’s legitimate interest in ensuring that the Website functions properly.
- Analytics cookies: your voluntary consent — Article 399 of the Polish Electronic Communications Law Act of July 12, 2024 (ustawa z dnia 12 lipca 2024 r. Prawo komunikacji elektronicznej) for storing cookies on your device, and Article 6(1)(a) GDPR for processing data for statistical purposes.
